| Obituary- Martin, Paul I. Paul Martin Jr.
CONWAY Paul I. Martin Jr., 61, ConŽway, died Tuesday, May 19, 1998, at a McPherson hospital.
Mr. Martin started work for the Wall-Rogalsky Milling Company in 1955 and worked as a feed packer and maintenance worker through the years until being named manager of the Conway Elevator, now owned by Mid Kansas Co-op, in 1972.
He was born April 3, 1937, at Rossville, the son of Paul I. Martin Sr. and Nellie I. Gibson.
Mr. Martin was a member of St. JoŽseph's Catholic Church, McPherson, Knights of Columbus Council No. 5222, McPherson, and the Salt City Pony Pulling Association.
He married Ilene Marcine McCulle on March 3, 1957, at Roxbury. She survives, of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Buck Merlin Martin, McPherson, and Myron Martin, Inman; a daughter, Michelle Bur-nette, McPherson; four brothers, William W. Martin, Henry M. Martin and C.D. MarŽtin, all of McPherson, and Steven L. Mar-tin, Hutchinson; two sisters, Mary Irene Hudson, Topeka, and Pauline Bickford, Sterling; and seven grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph s Catholic Church, McPherson. Burial will be in Crestwood Memorial Park Cemetery, rural McPherson. Visitation is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Friday at the church. Glidden-Ediger Funeral Home, McPherson, is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests memorials to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
