    An interesting social event of the week at Willard was the delightful party given in honor of Mrs. Ralph Martin, who before her recent marriage was Miss Bertha Skidmore. She was complimented with a miscellaneous shower last Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Gladis Skidmore. The hostess was assisted by Miss Edna Martin. The afternoon was spent in playing games after which refreshments of cake, jello and coffee were served. The bride, who is attractive with a pleasing personality, received many useful gifts.     Mr. and Mrs. Martin will be at home on the Frances DeGraff farm just south of Rossville.
