A reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. with a dance following at 9 p.m. All relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Hosts for the occasion will be their children: Paul J. Matyak, Ed Matyak, Dorothy Barnes, Roxie Fath, Topeka; Rick Matyak, Delia; Monica Matyak, Lawrence; and families. Paul Matyak and Genevieve Grace were married July 26th, 1945, at Sacred Heart Church and made their home in Delia. They started their own auto repair business, Matyak's Garage, in 1945. Paul worked as an auto mechanic and Genevieve handled all the accounting and record keeping for the business and customers. He recently retired after 45 years of service to the Delia community. She is still employed as treasurer of the Delia City Council. The Matyak's have nine grandchildren.

It will be hosted by their children and their families, Paul J. Mr. Matyak, who owned and operated Matyak’s Garage in Delia, retired after 45 years of service. She was born May 23,1925, at Delia, the daughter of Thomas Joseph and Bernadette Mary McMullen Grace. She graduated from Delia High School. Mrs. Matyak was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia, and the Auxiliary to Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion, Rossville. She married Paul F. Matyak, July 26, 1945, at Delia. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Barnes, Topeka, Roxann Fath, Tecumseh, and Monica Steiner, Olathe; three sons, Paul J. Matyak, Rossville (who died early the next day), Ed Matyak, Topeka, and Rick Matyak, Delia; one brother, Gerald Grace, Topeka; one sister, Alice Payne, Hastings, NE; and nine grandchildren.
