Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday(today) at Parker Mortuary for Mrs. Elsie
McCollough, 84, Rossville, who died Monday, August 2, 1976 in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted June 17, and underwent surgery later. She had an aortic aneurysm.
She was born January 31, 1892 in the Laclede community in Pottawatomie County. She spent most of her life in the Rossville community.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the women’s group at the church, Amaryllis Chapter No. 321, Order of Eastern Star, and the Golden Agers, all of Rossville. She was a charter member of the Countryside Club at Rossville.
She was married to Hudson McCollough February 21, 1911 at Rossville. He died December 17, 1941. A son, Fred McCollough, died July 2, 1971.
Survivors include a brother, Philip Immenschuh, Rossville; a sister, Sister Mary Amelia Immenschuh, R.G.S., Florissant, Mo.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Judy Lundin, Delia, Mrs. Jane Tripp, Rossville, Mrs. Freda Zemek, St. Marys; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Casket bearers are Frank Dannefer, Jr., Francis Schraeder, Marvin Davis, John Fauerbach, Wayne Dick, and James Davis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church at Rossville.
