  Obituary- McDermeit, Dell Mr. and Mrs. Wilmont Holz returned home Monday night from Blandinsville, Ill. where they were called Wednesday of last week by the critical illness of her father, Dell McDermeit. He passed way early Thursday morning before Mr. and Mrs. Holz could reach home. Mr. McDermeit, 75, died at the Dunblazier Nursing Home after a critical illness of two weeks. He had been in poor health for the previous two years. His wife preceded him in 1929. Surviving are one son, Joseph McDermeit, three daughters, Mrs. Edna Holz, Rossville; Mrs. Louella Bunks, Blandinsville, and Mrs. Iola Oard of Mt. Union, Iowa. Funeral services were held Saturday August 25, at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial was at Hamilton, Illinois.
