Mr. Frank R. Dannefer and Miss Nell Shideller were married at the home of the bride's parents at Seabrook, Tuesday, June 29, Rev. Mr. Reed, of the Mission Creek Church officiating. Miss Shideller taught school for several years in the south part of the county and was a very popular young lady in that neighborhood.
Mr. Dannefer is the young[missing] of Mrs. R. Dannefer, living one mile northeast of Rossville. Mr. Dannefer with his mother came to Rossville early this spring from Cuba, Kansas, where he was raised. The young people will make their home on the Dannefer farm. |

In a quiet ceremony solemnized Sunday, February 27, in Aldersgate chapel of the First Methodist church in Topeka, Miss Doris Dannefer became the bride of Mr. Robert W. Ketner.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Frank Dannefer of Rossville and the late Mrs. Dannefer, and Mr. Ketner’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Ketner of Norman, Okla.
Dr. Eugene Frank officiated at the exchange of vows at 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon.
The couple’s only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Sender.
Following a wedding trip to New Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. Ketner are at home at 905 Clay in Topeka.
Mrs. Ketner received her AB degree from Washburn university and is now employed by the Shawnee Guidance center. Mr. Ketner received his AB degree from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s degree in social work from Denver university. He is also employed by the Shawnee Guid¬ance center.

NORMAN, Okla. — Doris Jean Ketner, 70, Norman, formerly of Topeka, died Sunday, April 27, 1997, at a hospital here.
She was born July 28,1926, in Rossville, Kan., the daughter of Frank R. and Nelle Dannefer. She was graduated from Rossville High School and received an AB degree from Washburn University. She at-ended the graduate school of social work at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. She lived in Topeka before she moved to Norman in 1957. She was a secretary before she retired.
She was a member of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church in Norman.
She was married to Robert W. Ketner in 1955. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother, Frank Dannefer, address unavailable.
Private graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the IOOF Cemetery in Norman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice. Primrose Funeral Service in Norman is in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 28,1926, the daughter of Frank R. and Nelle Dannefer, in Rossville.
She was a graduate of Rossville High School. Mrs. Ketner received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washburn University in Topeka, and attended the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Kansas. She was a member of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, Norman, Okla.
She married Robert W. Ketner in 1955, and moved to Norman in 1957, from Topeka. He died August 10, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lula R. Hill.
Mrs. Ketner is survived by a brother, Frank “Junior” Dannefer, Rossville, and his wife, Eunice; a sister-in-law, Janie Ketner; nieces and nephews, Cynthia Ketner Reilley, William D. Ketner, Jr., Daryl Dannefer, Dale Dannefer, and Gary Hill.
Funeral arrangements were conducted by Primrose Funeral Service, Norman, Okla.
