| Obituary- McGuire, Joseph JOSEPH McGUlRE
Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at Parker Mortuary for Joseph McGuire, 84, Topeka, who died Monday, January 17,1977 at a Topeka hospital.
He was born December 28, 1892, at Rossville and had been a Topeka resident most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
He was retired from Union Pacific Railway in 1958.
He was a member of Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Union and Pottawatomie Lodge No. 52, AF&AM, St. Marys.
He was married to Anna Lambrecht on May 5, 1934, at Manhattan. She died November 14, 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Alfred Rupp, Lancaster, Pa., and Lloyd Rupp, Topeka: two daughters, Mrs. JoAnn Tidwell, Earle, Ark., and Mrs. Norma Rogers, Topeka; two brothers, Charles McGuire, St. Marys, and Louis McGuire, Belvue; a sister, Mrs. May Levett, Topeka; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Casket bearers were Bob Cobler, Bob Turpin, Richard Rupp and Tony Tidwell.
