    MARRIED AT HUTCHINSON
    Mrs. Ella Easdale announces the marriage of her daughter, Nettie L. Startup, to Dr. C. D. McKeoun, on Saturday, May 17, at Hutchinson, Kansas.

    After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. McKeoun will make their home in Hutchinson.

    Mrs. McKeoun was born and reared in this community. She is a graduate of the Rossville grade school. After her graduation she entered the teaching profession and taught for several years at Highland Park, in New Mexico and for the last two years in the Hutchinson city schools with conspicuous success.

    Rossville friends are pleased to extend best wishes.

    Mrs. Ella Easdale and daughter, Mae, entertained last Thursday afternoon for Dr. and Mrs. C. D. McKeoun, who were enroute to their home in Hutchinson, Kansas, from Chicago, where they had been spendŽing their honeymoon. The Easdale home was very tastefully decorated with flowers. The table decorations were bouquets of roses and peonies. Dainty refreshments were served by Miss Mildred Binney.

    Mrs. McKeoun was formerly Miss Netta Startup. While in the city Mr. and Mrs. McKeoun also visited with Mrs. Margaret Enos.

    Mrs. Netta L. McKeown
    WICHITA — Services were Monday at Cochran Mortuary here for Mrs. Netta L. McKeown, 97, formerly of Topeka. She died July 22, 1987, at a Wichita nursing home.

    Mrs. McKeown formerly taught at Highland Park High School in Topeka. She later taught in Hutchinson schools before she retired.

    She was born Nov. 5, 1889, at Rossville, the daughter of William and Ella Musick Startup.

    Mrs. McKeown was a member of First United Methodist Church. Gleaners Sunday school class at the church and 20th Century Club, all at Wichita.

    She was married to Dr. Charles Davis McKeown in 1935. He died in 1958.

    Survivors include a son. Willis McKeown, Wichita, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    Burial was in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at Wichita.
