| Obituary- McNeive, Edward Edward A. McNeive
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Edward A. McNeive, 74, 1639 Burnett, who died Thursday morning at a Topeka hospital.
He was born Sept. 23, 1898, at Delia, and had been a Topeka resident 51 years. He was employed as a boilermaker by the Santa Fe Railway 44 years before he retired Feb. 1,1963.
He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 534 and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
Survivors include his widow, Effie McNeive, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. J. D. Sells, 3549 Silver Lake Road; a son, Robert G. McNeive, Sunrise Beach, Mo.; a stepson, Andrew J. Vaughn, Auburn; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth McDermott, Hutchinson, and Mrs. Catherine Eakins, Edgerton; two brothers, Tom McNeive, Hutchinson, and Leo McNeive, 1401 Harrison, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Rosaries will be recited Friday at 7 p.m. by Daughters of Isabella; 7:15 p.m. by Knights of Columbus Council 534 and at 8 p.m. by the parish at Brennan Funeral Home.
