Robert retired from Westar Energy in 1988 after 37 years of service. He was married to Myrtle Mae Feldhausen on October 2, 1950. Myrtle preceded him in death January 16, 2013. They are survived by their daughter Carla Warren (Joe); 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; nephews Ronald Valguria (Gloria Eberle), Lawrence, KS, William Valguria (Crickett), Grain Valley, MO; and brother Donald Lacock. A private Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
