Elaine M. Smith and Robert J. Mohler were married May 28, 1955.
Their three daughters and their husbands are Nancy and Vince Burkhardt, Silver Lake; Kelly and Raubin Pierce, Topeka: and Kathy Mohler, Topeka. They have one granddaughter, Torey Burkhardt, Silver Lake.
The couple own and operate their farm near Silver Lake.

Robert and Elaine Mohler, Silver Lake and Topeka, celebrated their 5O'h wedding anniversary Saturday, May 28,2005, with a four-day family holiday in Kansas City, hosted by their daughters.
Robert Mohler and Elaine Smith were married May 28,1955, in the Army Base Chapel at Camp Chaffe, Fort Smith, AR.
Their children are Nancy Burkhardt and husband, Vince, Silver Lake; Kelly Pierce and husband, Raubin, Topeka; and Kathy Mohler, Topeka.
The couple’s son, Robert “Bobby” is deceased.
The couple has three granddaughters, Torey, Taylor, and Taryn Burkhardt, Silver Lake.
The Mohlers continue to be active in a family farm operation. Their address is 8025 NW 21s' Street, Topeka, KS 66618.

| Obituary- Mohler, Robert Robert Mohler Jr.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the United Methodist Church at Silver Lake for Robert "Bobby" Mohler Jr., 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Mohler, Route 6, who died Monday in a hospital at Houston, Tex., where he was transferred from a Topeka hospital Nov. 4. He underwent surgery Nov. 26.
He had been readmitted to the Topeka hospital Oct. 20. Earlier in 1970, he was a patient in the same hospital from June 8 to July 9 and from Aug. 6 to Aug. 28. He had leukemia.
He was born Oct. 30, 1963, in Topeka, and spent his life in Shawnee County near Silver Lake. He was in the first grade at Silver Lake Grade School and was a preparatory member of Silver Lake United Methodist Church.
Besides his parents, survivors include a sister, Nancy Mohler, at home; his grandparents, mr. and Mrs. C.L. Mohler, Route 6, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Queen, 219 Waite, and a great-grandfather, Raymond Smith, Holton.
Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church at Silver Lake. Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
