OTTAWA — Melba Larson, 78, Ottawa, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1992, in an Ottawa retirement home.
Miss Larson attended school in the Lyndon area and was a homemaker for her father and family for many years.
She was born Dec. 11, 1914, in Hoyt, the daughter of Gladys and Arthur Larson. She moved to Ottawa in 1986 from Pomona.
Survivors include a brother, Gerald R. Larson, Rossville; two sisters, Marjory Evans, Topeka, Sind Novella Faye King, Pomona; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Miss Larson will lie in state after 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Mortuary. She will be buried at 2 p.m. in Hoyt Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ottawa Retirement Village in care of the mortuary.
