| Obituary- Linton, Carol Carol Linton
EXETER, Mo. — Carol Marie Wagner Brucker Linton, 80, Exeter, died Wednesday, June 5,2002, at a Cassville, Mo., hospital.
Mrs. Linton was a secretary for several doctors in Hutchinson and the Hutchinson school system. She also was a secretary with Forbes Air Base in Hutchinson and transferred when it moved to Topeka, where she later retired and became a full-time homemaker.
She was born Dec. 24,1921, in Odebolt, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur Christian and Edith Chad Morey Wagner. She moved to Exeter four years ago.
Mrs. Linton was active with her children’s school activities and enjoyed music and dancing.
She married Paul E. Linton on May 6,1967, in Centralia. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Chad Brucker Huriey, Sun Lakes, Ariz.; two stepsons, John Linton, Monett, Mo., and Richard Linton, Osborne; a grandchild; six stepgrandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Scherry Wehrli; and two granddaughters, Kimberly Wehrli and Kelly Wehrli.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Rossville Cemetery in Rossville.
Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville is in charge of arrangements.
