| Obituary- Lister, Isaac Farmer Victim of Apparent Heart Attack
Isaac C. Lister, 77, was found dead near his tractor Tuesday evening, the victim of an apparent heart attack, a Wabaunsee County Sheriffs Department dispatcher said Wednesday.
Mr. Lister was found by his son on his farm west of Dover. The incident was reported at 9:30 p.m.
Lister wasn't injured by the tractor, the dispatcher said. She said he was taken to Crable Funeral Home in Eskridge.

| Obituary- Lister, Isaac 2 Isaac C. "Ike" Lister, 77, died Tuesday, January 14, 1992, at his farm near Dover.
He was born November 25, 1914, east of Keene, the son of Oliver and Jane Smith Lister, and grew up in the Keene community. He was graduated from Maple Hill High School.
Mr. Lister was a cattleman and had lived on his present farm since 1949. He also was a warehouseman for the Fleming Company for more than 25 years when he retired in 1974.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre.
Mr. Lister was a life member of Phillip Billard Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1650 in Topeka.
He was married to Rose Starkey, October 20, 1934, in Holton. She died March 30, 1987.
Survivors include a daughter, Norma Hammond, Canyon Lake, Texas; two sons, Marvin Lister, Bismark, North Dakota, and Leroy Lister, Dover; three sisters, Bertha Boyles, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Elsie Gurtler, Maple Hill, and Blanche Higgins, Banning, California; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. |
