Olejnik, young people from the Bohemian neighborhood, were married by the probate judge at his office in Topeka Tuesday. The customary celebration of the event will be held at the Olejnik home tomorrow.
  		Anniversary- Olejnik, George and Rosa 1 MR. & MRS. OLEJNIK HONORED ON WEDDING ANNIVERSARY A family get-to-gether was held Sunday, October 3, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Olejnik Sr. in honor of their 46th wedding anniversary which was October 6th. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Olejnik and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Olejnik also had wedding anniversaries on the 6th which were celebrated Sunday. Refreshments of ice cream and cake were served to the following: Mr. and Mrs. George Olejnik, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Olejnik and Linda, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Olejnik and Robert, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Olejnik and Charlotte, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Pressgrove, Karen, Shirley and Ronald, Mr. and Mrs. George Olejnik Jr., Joyce and Patricia, Mrs. Georgi Anne Davis and Richard, Mr. Rudolf Olejnik, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koontz and Cheryl Kay. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Donly were unable to attend.
  		Anniversary- Olejnik, George and Rosa 2 Celebrate 47 wedding anniversary OCTOBER 27, 1955 Mr. and Mrs. George Olejnik, Sr. celebrated their wedding anniversary on October 9. They were married 47 years ago on October 6. A family gathering was held at their home. A three tiered, decorated cake and home made ice cream were served. The cake was baked by two of their daughters, Mrs. Georgianne Davis and Mrs. William Koontz. The following were present: Mr. and Mrs. George Olejnik Sr., Mr. and Mrs. George Olejnik Jr., Patricia and Joyce of Delia, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Pressgrove, Karen and Ronnie, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Olejnik and Bobby, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olejnik and Linda, Rudolf and Henry Olejnik, all of Rossville, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koontz and Cheryl, Mrs. Georgianne Davis and Richard, Miss Shirley Pressgrove and Mr. A1 Dietrich all of Topeka. Mrs. Henry Oleinik and Charlotte of Rossville and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Donly and Deborah of St. Joseph, Mo. were unable to attend.
  		Anniversary- Olejnik, George and Rosa 3 Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. George Olejnik Sr. celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home in Delia, Kansas, October 5, 1958. They were married October 6, 1908, at Topeka. Mr. and Mrs. Olejnik retired from the farm in 1955 when they moved to Delia. Before their retirement, they had spent all of their married life on a farm in the Rossville vicinity. Mrs. Olejnik was born in Moravia, Czechoslovakia, and came to the United States at the age of eleven. Mr. Olejnik was born at Rossville and lived in the community until he and Mrs. Olejnik moved to Delia, where they still reside. They have nine children and sixteen grandchildren. The children are: George Jr. of Delia. Rudolf, Henry, William and Edward of Rossville, Mrs. Agnes Koontz, Mrs. Georgianne Davis of Topeka, Mrs. Helen Donly of St. Joseph, Mo., and Mrs. Josephine Pressgrove of Rossville.

  Documents		Anniversary- Olejnik, Henry and Elvira Olejnik Couple Celebrated Golden Anniversary Henry and Elvira Olejnik, Delia, observed their 50th wedding anniversary April 17. They were guests of honor at a reception and dinner Saturday, April 8, at the American Legion Hall in Rossville. The events were hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and George Moreland, Weston, Mo., and granddaughters, Shannon Moreland, Kansas City, Mo., and Natalie Moreland, Southwest State University, Missouri. Elvira Mitchell and Henry Olejnik were married April 17, 1945, Topeka. They lived on a farm near Rossville until they moved to Delia 1987. Mr. Olejnik is retired from Western Foundry and Machine Works Topeka.

• Documents		Obituary- Olejnik, Henry 1 Henry Olejnik Delia- Henry Olejnik, 88, Delia, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at a Topeka hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in the Czech-Moravan Cemetery, north of Rossville. He will lie in state from noon until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the ZCBJ Lodge No. 128 and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St. Marys, Kan. 66536.
  		Obituary- Olejnik, Henry 2 Olejnik Henry Olejnik, 88, Delia, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at a Topeka hospital. He was born March 5, 1916, near Rossville, the son of George and Rosie Hejtmanek Olejnik. He grew up in the Rossville community and attended Victor No. 101 School. He had lived in the Delia and Rossville communities all his life. Mr. Olejnik served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Africa, where he was wounded in ac¬tion. He returned to Walter Reid Hospital in Washington, D.C., to recover from his wounds and was later discharged. He owned and op¬erated a Mobil service station, had been a mechanic for an IH dealer and worked many years at the Kaw Dehydrator, all in Rossville. He later worked for Western Foundry in Topeka as a welder, and he farmed. He was a member of Rossville Presbyterian Church and the ZCBJ Lodge No. 128. He married Elvara L. Mitchell on April 17, 1945, in Topeka. She died June 26, 2002. Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Moreland, Weston, Mo.; a brother, William Olejnik, Ross¬ville; four sisters, Josephine Pressgrove, Georgianne Davis and Agnes Wike, all of Topeka, and Helen Donelly, St. Joseph, Mo.; two granddaughters, Shannan Eagen and Natalie Moreland; and four great¬grandchildren, Seth, Logan Rebecca, Grant and Quinn Eagen. Funeral services were held Mon¬day afternoon at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial was in the Czech Moravan Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to ZCBJ Lodge No. 128, sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St, Marys, KS 66536.
