Bill and Tina Olejnik of Rossville and Ed and Greta Olejnik of Holton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversaries with a family dinner.
Both couples were married in a double wedding ceremony on Oct. 6, 1948, at the Presbyterian Church in Rossville with the Rev. B.A. Rundus officiating.
Bill and Ed Olejnik are brothers and Tina Polson Olejnik and Greta Polson Olejnik are sisters.
Bill and Tina Olejnik are the parents of Robert W. and Kathy Olejnik, Rossville; Lila Jean Olejnik, Topeka; and Lisa Kay and Jim Pinney, Johnstown, Neb, They have five grandchildren.
Bill is a retired farmer and Tina is employed at the St. Marys Health Center in St. Marys.
Ed and Greta Olejnik are the parents of Linda Mae and Larry Smatla, Oskaloosa, and Judy Kay Olejnik, Key West, Fla. They have two grandchildren.
Ed retired as a mechanic from the John Deere dealership in Holton. Greta is employed in food service in Holton schools.

| Obituary- Olejnik, Christina Christina Matilda "Tina" Polson Olejnik
Christina Matilda "Tina" Polson Olejnik, Rossville, 85, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the St. Marys Manor.
She was born February 16, 1930 at Omaha, NE, the daughter of Ellis and Juanita Mitchell Polson.
Mrs. Olejnik was a homemaker and farm wife, farming with her husband north of Rossville and had worked at the St. Marys Manor for many years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Rossville, where she served as an Elder and was a member of the Presbyterian Women. She taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years and had completed the four-year Menninger Bible Course. Mrs. Olejnik was a member and officer of the ZCBJ Lodge at Rossville, and served as a correspondent for the Western Fraternal Herald for many years. Tina was a lifelong volunteer for the church, lodge and the Czech Moravan Cemetery.
On October 6, 1948 she was united in marriage to William Olejnik at Rossville. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2014. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Tammy Olejnik and Lila (Doug) Wolc, a grandson, Blake Wolc and her sister Greta Polson Olejnik.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Kathy) Olejnik, Rossville; her daughter Lisa (Jim) Pinney, Johnstown, NE; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, September 14, 2015 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Interment followed in the Czech Moravan Cemetery north of Rossville.
