Marjory Lois Evans, age 85, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in Topeka, KS.
Marge is survived by her sons, Fred (Sheila) Evans, of Lexington, NE, Ted (Mary) Evans of Edmond, OK, John Evans of Cape Coral, FL, and Jim Evans of Sierra Vista, AZ; and her sister, Novella (Phil) King, of Pomona, KS; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also had a number of Marge Evans nieces, nephews, other family members, and family members of companion Dick Allen of Valley Falls.
Marge is preceded in death by her sister, Melba Leona Larson; her brother, Avril Jack Larson, of Roseburg, OR; her sister Leota May Helmick, of Topeka, KS; her brother, Gerald Robert Larson, of Rossville, KS; her twin brother, Marlin Lloyd, of Kankakee, IL; her nephew, Arthur Merle (Buddy) Larson, of Dillard, OR; her nephew, Marlin Ray Larson, of Quenemo, KS; her granddaughter, Michelle Palmer of Lawrence, KS; and her longtime companion, Dick Allen, of Valley Falls, KS.

| Obituary- Evans, Marjory 2 Marge was born on January 26, 1930 in Lyndon, KS, to parents Arthur Robert and Gladys May Larson. She worked as a medical assistant, housewife, daycare provider, store clerk, filing clerk at Shawnee County Court House, and as an aid for the Kansas Legis¬lature. Marge married Fil O. Evans. They were divorced.
After retiring from her governmental jobs, she con¬tinued to enjoy the company of family and friends, dancing, Senior Olympics, and travel.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sat¬urday, March 21, 2015 at Parker-Price Chapel of Penwell-Gabel funeral home, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, KS. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions or donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Burial will follow the memorial ' service at the Valley Falls Cemetery (Farrar-Rose Hill Cemetery) as by Marjory’s wish. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Mary Lederer, her family, and members of Dick Allen’s family for their support.
A celebration of life will follow the burial in Valley Falls, KS.
