    Charley Owen Buried Here
    Yesterday
Charley Owens, aged 23 years, who died Monday evening at 5 o’clock at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owens in North Topeka, was buried in the Rossville cemetery yesterday.

His death was caused by pneumonia following an attack of influenza. He was dangerously ill Saturday when he came to his parents home from his own farm home near Grantville, and his condition was serious from that time until death claimed him.

The Owens family are former Rossville folk and the young man was raised in this vicinity.

The many friends of the family sympathize with them in their bereavement. Mr. Owens is survived by his widow beside his parents and brothers and sisters. Relatives in this vicinity are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mitchell, aunts, Mrs. Joe Dean, Mrs. Wm. Kirkpatrick and one uncle, James Owen.
