Kathryn Marie Palmer, 75, Wakarusa, died Tuesday, April 18, 1995, at a Topeka hospital.
Mrs. Palmer worked for Litwin's Clothing Store for 29 years.
She was born April 14, 1920, in St. Marys, the daughter of George and Gertrude Hesston Yocum.
Mrs. Palmer was a member of Berryton United Methodist Church, Navy Mothers and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was married to Val B. Palmer on Oct. 26, 1941, in Las Vegas. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Orville D. Palmer, Taft, Texas, and Thomas V. Palmer, Topeka; two brothers, George Yocum Jr., Kansas City, Mo., and Nick Yocum, St. Marys; seven sisters, Winifred Kerwin, Rossville, Mawrguerite Petty, Olathe, Helen Gooden, Topeka, Betty Hatfield, Manasses, Va., Alice Hoffsett, in Missouri, Georgia M. Forbes, Lake Stevens, Wash., and Patty Shove, Silver Lake; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Berryton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Lynn Creek Cemetery. She will lie in state after 4 p.m. today at Davidson Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Berryton United Methodist Church, Berryton, 66429.
