ROSSVILLE- Olga I. Parker, 95, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Rossville Health Center.
She was born May 22,1912 at Kennard, NE, the daughter of John and Bertha Japp. She grew up in Nebraska and moved to Colorado at an early age. She graduated from high school in Colorado. Mrs. Parker moved to Kansas in 1938 and to the Rossville community in 1954.
She was married to Forrest Parker on May 2, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings, a son, Daryl Parker in 2004, a grandson, Royce Parker in 2001 and a son-in-law, Roy Davis in 2007.
Survivors include two daughters, Irene "Dallas" Jaeger, Spring- field, MO. and Phyllis Davis, Silver Lake; a son, Robert "Rea" Parker, El Dorado; a daughter in -law, Dora Parker, Jensen Beach, FL; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October, 8, 2007 at the Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of America Hospice and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home; 714 Maple St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
