John is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Parr of Rossville township and was raised in this vicinity. Mrs. Parr comes from a prominent family living near Dover and is reported a charming young lady. The young couple will make their home here. |

Miss Elrena Keller, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Keller, was united in marriage to Nathaniel Parr, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Parr, by Rev. Horton at the Methodist parsonage, Wednesday morning.
They were accompanied by their respective mothers.
Both of these young people are widely known in the community where both have attended school. Mrs. Parr graduated with the class of 1935 from the Rossville high school. Mr. Parr has work at a Dairy near Topeka and they will make their future home there. |

| Obituary- Parr, William N. WILLIAM PARR
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary for William Parr, 60, Topeka, who died Wednesday, January 7, 1976, in a Topeka hospital where he was admitted Saturday. He had emphysema.
He was born April 23, 1915 in Rossville, and had lived in Topeka 35 years. He was employed by the water collection and control department before his retirement three years ago.
He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Topeka.
He was married to Elrena Keller October 16, 1935 in Rossville. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Marlin Parr, and Darrell Parr, both of Topeka; and Darwin Parr, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Luetje, Topeka; his mother, Mrs. Florence Puckett, and a stepfather, Leroy Puckett, both of Topeka; a brother, Glenn Parr, Onaga; and six grandchildren.
Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Casket bearers were Wilbur Norttcup, Jim Tustin, Claude McCabe, John Glidewell, Ernest Cook and Arthur Stovall.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Lung Association.
