| Obituary- Ream, Ralph RALPH REAM
Ralph King Ream, 76, prominent Shawnee County farmer, died unexpectedly Tuesday night at his home near Kiro, after a heart attack.
Mr. Ream was born August 22, 1878, in Somersett, Ohio, and settled on a farm in the Kilmer community northeast of North Topeka in 1886. He had lived on a farmin the Kiro community about 20 years. He was a former member of the Silver Lake Township board and the school board in his community. He was a member of the Silver Lake Masonic Lodge and the Silver Lake Eastern Star Chapter.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie B. Ream of the home; four nieces, Mrs. Glenn Pollom and Mrs. Stella Newell, both of Topeka; Mrs. Ethel Otto, Hamilton, Mo., and Mrs. Kathryn Roderick, Meriden; and nine grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Eslinger Funeral Home with burial in Rochester Cemetery.
