MESA, ARIZONA -Harley (Bud) Renyer passed away on June
23, 2007, at Odyssey Hospice, Mesa AZ.
Bud was born May 14, 1931 Topeka, Ks. son of Henry & Pearl Kraus Renyer.
He lived in the Silver Lake area most of his life, graduating from Silver Lake high school. A very important part of his life was spent serving in the Air Force with the 74th Fighter Interceptor Squadron; he kept in touch with his buddies through their annual reunions.
Bud had the pleasure of farming with his dad for over 30 yrs. then on his own until retiring in 1996. He was a 41 year member of the Moose Lodge #555 & 51 year member of the American Legion Post #160; he thoroughly enjoyed being a member of their firing squad. His number one passion was being with his children & grandchildren, then came dancing which he did extremely well. Bud married Gayle Hendricks 1960 she died 1975. Friends arranged a blind date for him on New Years Eve with Wilma Tatman Spence, it was love from hello; they were married 3 months later, March 30, 1976. They wintered in Mesa AZ. This became their permanent residence in 2003.
He was preceded in death by a sister Nadine Watson. The world has lost a very special man; Bud always had a smile for everyone, he will be missed by many including, his loving wife Wilma, daughters, Vicky Luttrell, Cheryl Stueve & husband Doug, Topeka, son Rofl Spence Rossville. Grandchildren: Heather & Brooke Stueve, Ireland, Connor & Delaney Spence, Misti Robertson & husband Jason, Josh Luttrell & wife Jill, Sarah, Emily, Paul & Ellie Smith, great grandchildren: Kemper & Lily Robertson & Zoe Lluttrell, nieces, nephews & his many friends from all over the United States & Canada.
Bud was a donor to Science Care, no services are planned.
