Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Reser, Rossville, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on August 11, 1981.
Mr. and Mrs. Reser were married in Raton, New Mex., on August 11, 1941. The couple has three children: Gerald Reser, Jr., Herndon, Va.; Donna Pauly, Wamego; and Cheryl Lemon, Topeka; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald H. Reser, Rossville, will be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary with a family celebration today.
Hosts will be their children: Gerald H. Reser Jr. and Irene Reser, Niceville, Fla.; Donna and James Pauly, Wamego; and Cheryl and Bill Hatfield, Wichita.
Gerald Harrison Reser and Donis Lee Stephan were married Aug. 11, 1941, in Raton. N.M. Mr. Reser is a retired farmer in the Rossville area. Mrs. Reser is a retired bank employee from People's State Bank and a childcare provider.
They have eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Gerald and Donis Reser of Rossville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a week’s vacation with their family in June on the Outer Banks at Corolla, N.C.
Donis Stephan and Gerald Reser were married Aug. 11,1941, at Raton, N.M.
Their children and their spouses are Gerald Jr. and Irene Reser, Niceville, Fla.; Donna and James Pauly, Overland Park; and Cheryl and Bill Hatfield, Arlington, Texas. The couple have 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Donis L. Reser
Donis L. Reser passed away April 18, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House. She was born July 5, 1920 in Mason City, IA and lived her childhood in Nortonville, KS.
She married Gerald Reser, August 11, 1941, and is survived by her children; Gerald Reser of Kansas City, MO, and Cheryl Hat¬field of Arlington, TX, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grand¬children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, daughter Donna Lee Pauly, and great-granddaughter Shelby.
Donis was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary #31, a member of the DAR, and a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants. She enjoyed family, traveling, reading and gene¬alogy research.
Burial will be at the Rossville Cemetery on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 11 AM. Friends are invited to join in a memorial luncheon at the Rossville American Legion, Friday April 22 ,2011 at Noon. Memorial contributions can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145.
