    John Roberson buried at Silver Lake
    Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary in Topeka for John W. Roberson, 65, who was dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital Tuesday after becoming ill at his Topeka home. Burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery north of Silver Lake.

    He was born Feb. 15, 1899 in Morgan County, Ky., and spent most of his life in the Soldier and Silver Lake communities where he was a farmer. After he retired, he was employed at the Methodist Home for the Aged in Topeka.

    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Golda Roberson, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Larry Watkins, Topeka; two sons, Richard Roberson of Topeka and Eldon Roberson of Silver Lake; a sister, Mrs. Arra Adams, Topeka; and seven grandchildren.
