| Obituary- Roosevelt, Craig Craig Wallace Roosevelt
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Gage Park Baptist Church for Craig Wallace Roosevelt, 23, Topeka. He died Friday, Feb. 17, 1989, at an Olathe medical center. He had been ill.
He was born Dec. 30, 1965, at Lakeside, Calif., the son of Jack and Diane Diehl Roosevelt. He had been a Topekan since 1967 and was graduated from the Capper Foundation May 20, 1987.
Mr. Roosevelt participated in the Kansas Special Olympics and United Cerebral Palsy Games and attended the Muscular Dystrophy Camp. He was a member of Gage Park Baptist Church, Boy Scouts of America, the Garden Club, Art Club, sports class, performing arts and Youth for Christ.
Survivors include his mother, Diane Buchannon, Topeka; his father, Jack Roosevelt, Corona, Calif.; three sisters, Jackie Parr and Sherry Flores, both of Houston, and Krissy Pfefferle, Pitman, N.J.; a brother. Rusty Roosevelt, Salina; and grandmothers, Elizabeth Diehl, Perry, and Leona Clayberg, Corona, Calif.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mr. Roosevelt will Tie in state from 9 a m. to 8 p.m. today at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton and from 10 a.m. to the service time Monday at the church. Relatives and friends will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
