  Obituary- Stoneking, Esther MRS. VELMA STONEKING Mrs. Esther Velma Stoneking died early Tuesday evening at her home, 1221 Monroe. She was born in Abilene March 8, 1874, and had lived in this community for the past 25 years. She was a member of the United Brethren church, and of Sue Lovell Tent, Daughters of Union Veterans. She had served as president of the Goodwill Study Club. Surviving are three sons, Harry R. Startup of Topeka, James Frederick Startup of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Myren Arthur Startup of Orion, Ill.; two stepsons, Hallie Startup of Silver Lake and Walter Startup of Redlands, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. The body was taken to the Sanders- McMichael Funeral Home. Final arrangements were incomplete Tuesday evening.
