Clara Streeter
Dies In Topeka
Mrs. Clara R. Streeter, 58, was dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital Monday after becoming ill at her home in Topeka. An autopsy was scheduled Tuesday to determine cause of death.
She was born Oct. 3,1907 at Rossville. She lived in Willard before moving to Topeka 12 years ago. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Brooke, Berryton; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bessie Moore, Westminster, California; a stepson, Elmer Streeter, Manhattan; a brother, John Failer, Delia; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Streeter, Mrs. Flora Martin, Mrs. Leona Grange, all of Topeka, and Mrs. Essie Sterling, Hays, Mrs. Marjorie Heston of Topeka, and Mrs. Rosa Lewis, Route 7; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Davidson-Eslinger-Duff was in charge of arrangements.
