Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Teske, Delia, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 24, at the St. Marys Senior Center, 403 Lasley, St. Marys.
Hosts will be their children: JuDee and Ron Freel, Larry and Pat Teske, and Charla and Russ Freel, St. Marys.
Lawrence Teske and Bernadine Cameron were married April 24, 1938, in rural Wheaton. They have three grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.

ST. MARYS — Lawrence "Pop” Teske, 82, St. Marys, died Monday, Feb. 6, 1995, at a hospital in Onaga.
He was born July 29, 1912, near Wheaton, the son of Otto and Ida Brunkow Teske. He spent most of his life in the Onaga and Delia communi¬ties. He was a farmer and worked for Union Pacific Railroad before he retired.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rossville.
He was married to Bernadine Cameron April 24, 1938. She died May 4, 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, JuDee Turner and Charla Freel, both in St. Marys; a son, Larry Teske, St. Marys; a sister, Edna Wieters, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a brother, Franklin Teske, Onaga; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Rossville. Burial will be in Delia Cemetery. Mr. Teske will lie in state from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
Contributions may be made to the Lawrence Teske Memorial Fund yet to be designated and sent in care of the funeral home.

Lawrence “Pop” Teske, 82, St. Marys, died Monday, February 6, 1995, at Community Hospital, Onaga.
Mr. Teske was a farmer and retired Union Pacific Railroad worker. He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church.
He was born July 29, 1912, west of Onaga near Wheaton, the son of Otto and Ida Brunkow Teske.
Mr. Teske was married to Bernadine Cameron April 24, 1938. They lived most of their lives in the Onaga and Delia areas. Bernadine died May 4, 1992. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister and four brothers, Arnold Teske, Roland Teske, Irwin Teske, and Glenn Teske.
He is survived by two daughters, JuDee Turner and Charla Freel, both of St. Marys; one son, Larry Teske, St. Marys; a sister, Edna Wieters, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a brother, Franklin Teske, Onaga; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Wednesday at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Delia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lawrence “Pop” Teske memorial fund and sent in care of the funeral home. Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A family picnic was enjoyed at the Lawrence Teske home in Delia, Sunday, in honor of Lawrence Teske, who celebrated his 75th birthday on July 29.

Lawrence received a call from Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Teske, Daytona Beach, Fla., wishing him a happy birthday.
