| Obituary- Troxel, Elma Elma Marie Troxel
SILVER LAKE — Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in the Church of the Brethren at Topeka for Elma Marie Troxel, 88, Silver Lake, who died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993, at a Rossville nursing home.
She was born Aug. 19, 1905, in Oklahoma Territory, the daughter of John and Audrey Henderson Brookshire. She lived in Nemaha County before she moved to Silver Lake 25 years ago.
Mrs. Troxel was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Topeka.
She was married to Delbert A. Troxel Feb. 21, 1923, at Holton. He died Aug. 12, 1989.
Survivors include a daughter, Opal M. Dultmeier, Silver Lake; two sons, Floyd R. Troxel, Circleville, and Dale A. Troxel, Rossville; two sisters, Dorothy Fund and Bertha Richards, both of Topeka; two brothers, Willard Ruse, Chelan, Wash., and Raymond Ruse, Stull; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery at Goff. Memorial contributions may be made to Silver Lake Senior Citizens, Inc., P.O. Box 352, Silver Lake, 66539; or the Church of the Brethren, 3205 N.W. Rochester Road, 66617. Parker-Price Mortuary of Topeka is in charge of arrangements.
