Omer and Judy Van Vleck, Rossville, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 8. Omer Van Vleck and Judy Womack were married July 8, 1966 at the Methodist church in Platt City, Mo.
Their children are Michael and Holly Van Vleck, Rossville; Larry and Carrie Van Vleck, Rossville; Kevin and Lynette Renfro, Silver Lake; Justin and Misty Birdsong, Topeka; Jon and Cristy Balch, Rossville and Travis Van Vleck, Emporia.
A reception will be held Saturday, July 1 with family and friends in Silver Lake.

Judy Ann Van Vleck, age 58, of Rossville, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 at a Topeka hospital. She was born June 13, 1951 in Topeka the daughter of Afton and Alberta Bailey Womack. Judy married Omer Van Vleck July 8, 1966 in Platte City, Missouri. Judy worked as a day care provider for over 30 years. She was a member of the Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Riley Van Vleck and two brothers, Darrell and Gene Womack. She is survived by her husband of over 43 years, Omer Van Vleck of Rossville; three sons, Michael Van Vleck and his wife Holly of Willard, Larry Van Vleck of Rossville and Travis Van Vleck and his wife Beth of Rossville; three daughters, Lynette Renfro and her husband Kevin of Silver Lake, Misty Birdsong and her husband Justin of Topeka and Cristy Balch and her husband Jon of Rossville; two brothers, Jerry Womack of Silver Lake and Leonard Womack of Topeka; two sisters, Sharon Wheeler of Dover and Donna Roberts of Topeka and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. She will lie in state Tuesday from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home with visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Rossville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the WanaŽmaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. Online condolences may be made and left to cjonline.
