| Obituary- Weseloh, Ann Obituary
Ann Bush was born at Indianapolis, Ind., February 10, 1840. When 16 years of age her parents moved to Illinois and 11 years later came on to Kansas, locating at Big Springs east of Topeka in 1867. Two years later she came to Rossville where resided until her death.
On July 10, 1881, she was united in marriage to John Weseloh. No children were born to this union but she assumed the cares and tenderly cared for five children of relatives in addition to two step-children. Mrs. Weseloh was one of the earliest settlers of this community, her's being the fifth white family to locate here. On March 10, 1910, Mr. Weseloh died and her death occurred Oct. 18, 1916, at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 8 days. Her loss is mourned by one brother, John Bush, of Mayetta, Kansas, two step-children, John Weseloh, of Olpe, Kansas, and Mrs. Len Henderson, of Topeka, two nephews, Len and L.L. Henderson, the latter whom she raised, beside a host of friends made during her long life in the community. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Allen, of Topeka, in the Rossville M.E. church and the interment made in the Rossville cemetery, Friday, Oct. 20.
The out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Bush, of Mayetta; Mr. and Mrs. Len Henderson, of Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Saville, of Topeka; Nathan McPherson, of St. Marys and Mr. and Mrs. Ike Mitchell, of Silver Lake.

Mrs. Ann Weseloh Passes On
Mrs. Ann Weseloh died at her home on Pine street yesterday, a few minutes after one o'clock. Mrs. Weseloh's last illness dated only from the last of the week. For more than two years her health has been gradually declining but she was compelled to take to her bed only at short intervals and would then recover. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 1 o'clock from the M.E. church and interment made in the Rossville cemetery. Mrs. Weseloh was one of the oldest residents of this city coming here in 1868 and a more full history of her life will be given next week. Her son John, of Olpe and her daughter, Mrs. Len Henderson, of Dover were with her when the end came.
