  Obituary- Wolverton, Julia Mrs. Julia L. Wolverton Mrs. Julia Larson Wolverton, 92, Rossville, died Saturday, Dee. 28, at a Topeka hospital. Mrs. Wolverton had lived at the Rossville Valley Manor since Aug. 10, 1979. She formerly lived at 1508 Topeka and moved to Rossville Jan. 1, 1949. She was born July 1, 1893, at Scandia, the daughter of John Lars and Anna Wennerstern Larson. She was graduated from Scandia High School, and was graduated from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nurses in Chicago in 1921. In 1921, she was appointed superintendent of nurses at the Security Benefit Association Hospital in Topeka where she worked many years. Mrs. Wolverton was a member of the Rossville Bible Church. She was married to Percy B. Wolverton in 1946. He died July 28, 1967. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. John A. Larson, Anaheim, Calif. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Rossville Valley Manor. Cremation is planned. Inurnment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rossville Bible Church or to the Rossville Valley Manor. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
