    Charles P. “Chuck” Sorden
    Charles Patrick “Chuck” Sorden, 50, of Delia, passed away Sunday, August 30,2015.

    He was born February 20,1965 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Billy Charles and Willa Jean (Stephens) Sorden. He was a 1983 graduate of Seaman High School.

    Chuck managed the Eastboro NAPA, was a truck driver for Coors Distribution, and most recently drove for Frito-Lay for over 20 years, and had just received his 2 million mild accident free, safe driving award.

    Chuck married Amy M. Luthi on May 22, 1992 in Golden, CO. She survives. Other survivors include two children, Riley L. Sorden, and Emily M. Sorden of Topeka; a brother, Mike S. Sorden, Topeka; a brother-in-law, Rick Turley, Smithville, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Billie Jean Turley in 2009.

    Chuck enjoyed cooking, specifically BBQ, camping and fishing. He demonstrated strong mechanical abilities, especially in the automotive area. He also enjoyed raising cattle.

    A celebration of life ceremony will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka.
