  Obituary- Stadler, Shirley Shirley (Maxine) Parr Stadler Born September 29,1920 and died May 16, 2015 Shirley was one of 5 daughters born to Shirley O. and Edna Parr of Rossville Kansas. Shirley graduated from Rossville High and married her high school sweetheart, Joseph V. Stadler. The newly married couple moved to Bremerton Washington where they raised 3 children. After Joe retired they spent some years in Phoenix Arizona and Joe died there in 1996. Shirley has since resided in Yakima Washington until her passing. Shirley was a most gracious and loving woman and her family was everything to her. She was also a proud DAR member until she was into her 80s. She survived by her son Larry Joe Stadler and his wife, Donna, who live in Wickenberg Arizona; and daughter Barbara Lorene Thomas who resides in Centralia Washington. There is one surviving sister, Thelma Martin of Topeka Kansas and numerous other family members. Her son Walter Lee Stadler died in Harrington Maine in 2011 and a grandson, Scott Stadler died in Yakima Washington in 1982. Shirley and Joe’s 3 children blessed them with 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She was their “GG” and she will be missed. A Private Memorial for the immediate family in Yakima has taken place.
