The edge of the bodice was accented with cut re-embroidered lace which contoured gracefully in the back to the waistline. The slight bell-flared sleeves were of satin with scallops of cut reembroidered lace. The A-line skirt was also of satin, gathered softly in the back to fit the waistline. A slight flowing chapel train was edged with scallops of cut re-embroidered lace as was the front hem of the gown. On the wrist of her gown, the bride wore a gold locket watch which belonged to the groom’s grandmother, the late Mrs. Grace Dauber. Her double-tiered street length veil was of white alluring bridal illusion edged with delicate white ribbon lace. This was held by the head piece which was adorned with heavy lace, satin and voile flowers.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses, miniature white and mint green carnations, baby’s breath, greenery, embellished with bursts and hearts, and seed pearls. It was accented with white lace and mint green ribbon streamers. The bride’s going away corsage was of commodore roses and baby’s breath.
Ernie Allison, Grantville, accompanied himself on the guitar to “You Light Up My Life,” and “True Love.” He also played the “Wedding March” and his own arrangement for the conclusion of the ceremony.
