She was born June 4, 1903, in Rossville, the daughter of Joseph Henry and Alma C. Mitchell, Dean. She moved to Topeka in 1945. Mrs. Maddox was a member of Oakland Church of the Nazarene. She was married to Will H. Maddox. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Kader, Omaha, Neb., and Marlene Maddux, Overland Park; two sisters, Edna Bailey, Silver Lake, and Emma Waldrip, Aromas, Calif.; two brothers, Charles Dean, Silver Lake, and Delbert Dean, Topeka; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Maddox will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Kathryn J. Maddox Mrs. Kathryn J.
