Sarasota, Fla.—Mrs. Virginia Bailey, 69, Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Topeka, Kan., died Friday at her home. She suffered an apparent heart attack.
She was born April 11, 1908, in St. Marys, Kan. She later lived in Delia, Kan., until moving to Topeka in 1922. She moved to Florida in 1956.
She was graduated from Hayden High School and Strickler’s Business College in Topeka. She was employed by Security Benefit Life Insurance Co., and was a member of the Catholic faith.
She was married to Carl K. Bailey on April 9, 1928, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a brother, Francis DeBacker, 2218 Wilmington Court, Topeka; and a sister, Mrs. Edna Hartley, 527 Tyler, Topeka.
Services are pending at Hawkins Funeral Home, Sarasota. Cremation is planned.
