Golden Anniversary For Reilly Couple
Jim and Catherine Dohrman Reilly, Topeka, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, November 11,2000, with a 4:00 p.m. Mass at Holy Name Catholic Church, IO"1 and Clay Streets, in Topeka. A family dinner will follow at Reynolds Lodge, Lake Shawnee. A reception and dance will be held after the dinner.
Hosting the evening will be the couple’s children and their spouses, Jim and Sandra Reilly, Lee’s Summit, MO, Susan and David Gibbar, ST. Louis, MQ, and Steve and Patti Reilly, Salina.
Jim Reilly and Catherine Dohrman were married in the Assumption Catholic Church, Topeka, on November 14, 1950. Mr. Reilly, originally of Emmett, is a retired construction superintendent. Mrs. Reilly, originally of St. Marys, is a homemaker. The couple has three grandsons.
Friends of the couple are invited to the reception and dance, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Reynolds Lodge, Lake Shawnee. The couple requests no gifts.

Catherine (Dohrman) Reilly died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at
Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Mrs. Reilly was born June 16, 1927 at St. Marys, the daughter of John and Mary Brunin Dohrman. She was a member of Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church.
She married James K. Reilly on November 14, 1950. He survives of the home. Other survivors include sons, James M. Reilly, Lees Summit, MO. and Steven P. Reilly, Salina; a daughter, Susan Reilly, Ballwin, MO., sisters, Germaine Durow, Topeka, Margaret Tomson, St. Marys and Dolores Floersch, Rossville and four grandsons.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Mrs. Reilly will lie in state after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church where there will be a Prayer Vigil at 7:00 P.M. Catherine (Dohrman) Reilly died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Mrs. Reilly was born June 16, 1927, at St. Marys, the daughter of John and Mary Brunin Dohrman. She grew up in the St. Marys community attending Immaculate Conception grade school and St. Marys High School. She was a member of Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church.
She was a bookkeeper for Commercial Candy and later was a clerk/typist at White Sands Proving Grounds while her husband was in the service. The job she most loved was that of being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to dance and enjoyed a good game of cards.
Mrs. Reilly was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Bill, Ray, Jack, Lee, Paul Sally, Mary, Veronica and Monica.
She married James K. Reilly on Nov. 14, 1950. He survives of the home. Other survivors include sons, James M. Reilly, Lees Summit, Mo., and Steven P. Reilly, Salina; a daughter, Susan Reilly, Ballwin, Mo., sisters, Germaine Durow, Topeka, Margaret Tomson, St. Marys and Dolores Floersch, Rossville; grandsons, Justin, Jason, Jackson and Josiah Reilly.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, at Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.
