It was also Mrs. Higbee’s birthday anniversary, but owing to her recent illness only a few relatives called to remind them of the day. They were presented a lovely Aladdin lamp by Mr. and Mrs. Robt. McRoberts and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard McRoberts and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ursal Wyatt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Banta and family.

  Obituary- McRoberts, Florence FIorence McRoberts SILVER LAKE - Mrs. Florence M. McRoberts, 82, Silver Lake, died Tuesday in a rest home here. She had been a patient in a Topeka hospital from Dec. 2 to Dec. 5,1971. She was born Nov. 25, 1889, near Silver Lake and spent her life in the Silver Lake community. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Silver Lake. Her husband, Robert McRoberts, died in February, 1966. Survivors include four sons, Howard McRoberts, Silver Lake, Lee McRoberts, Manhattan, Albert McRoberts, 325 Harrison, Topeka, and George McRoberts, Palo Alto, Calif.; and two daughters, Mrs. Edna Wyatt, Carmichael, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth Beal, 929 Cambridge, Topeka. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Amy Trimble, 437 Poplar, Topeka, Mrs. Helen Banta, Delia, and Mrs. Grace Maddox, Harrison, Ark.; three brothers, Warren Higbee, 620 W. 3rd, Topeka, Roy Higbee, Elmont, and Ralph Higbee, Tulsa, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Parker Mortuary. Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery.
