Emmett -- Joyie Lee Bostelmann, 71, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at her home near Emmett.
She was born Dec. 30, 1942 at Onaga, the daughter of Garnett and Margaret E. Wells Hladky. She attended St. Clere and Emmett schools and resided in the Emmett community most of her life.
Joyle worked at American Linen in Topeka for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, being outside, collecting M & M’s and Denim Days. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joyce: a sister, Judy.
On Dec. 16, 1977 she was united in marriage to Rolland “Bud” Bostelmann at Emmett. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Karl Edward (Tracy) Thompson, Maple Hill, a daughter, April Inez (Jeremy) Hendricks, Emmett; a sister, Joan Henneke, Topeka; two brothers, James Hladky, Abilene and Johnny Hladky, St. Marys; three grandchildren, Jayna Lynn Thompson, Destiny Marie Lee Pulliam and Brady Edward Pulliam; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. at Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. The Family received friends on Friday, Nov. 7 at the funeral home.
