ROSSVILLE – Private services will be Tuesday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys for Mrs. Louise Elsie Wilt, 55, Rossville, who died Saturday at her home. She had been admitted to a Topeka hospital March 20,1970, and released, and readmitted May 28 and released. She had cancer.
She was born Jan. 27, 1915, at Emmett. She lived at Rossville several years. She was a member of the Rossville Home Demonstration Unit and the Family Circle at Rossville.
She was married to Earl Wilt in 1941 in California. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Dr. Howard Wilt, Fort Knox, Ky., Lt. John B. Wilt, Eielson Air Force Base, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mark Wilt, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Whittle, Sedgwick, and Jeanette Wilt, at home; two brothers, Fritz Johnson, 800 N. Tyler, Topeka, and Walt Johnson, Emmett; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Feaster, Elmira, N.Y., and Mrs. Helen Riggs, Des Moines, Iowa, and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
