Mrs. Donic L. Parr
ST. MARYS - Mrs. Donic L. Parr, 71, Rossville, died Sunday, June 29, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Rossville, the daughter of Walter and Ida L. Marney Patton. She attended Rossville schools.
Mrs. Parr was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville.
She married Joe D. Parr on Feb. 8, 1922, in Topeka. He died Sept. 29, 1961.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeannine Thompson, Silver Lake, and Joleen Parr, Rossville; four sons, Thane C. Parr, Rossville, Larry C. Parr, Virginia Beach, Va., David J. Parr, Topeka, and Clyde L. Parr, Ottawa; four sisters, Nora Dell Foresman and Juanita Foresman, both of St. Marys, Hope Meade, Rossville, and Eileen St. Louis, Topeka; a brother, Kermit Patton, Rossville; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Parr will lie in state until service time at Verschelden Funeral Chapel in St. Marys. The casket will remain closed. Memorials may be given to the Kansas Arthritis Association.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday (this evening) at Verschelden Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 1986 at St. Stanislaus Church, Rossville.
Internment [sic] will be Rossville Cemetery.
