Mrs. Kate Peck Sanders, Stockdale, died at her home Friday morning, March 2, according to a Manhattan paper report, after a short illness. She was 89 years old.
Mrs. Sanders was born Sept. 5, 1861 at Medora, Ind. She had been a resident of Rossville township for many years. She was the widow of the late Byron Sanders.
Surviving are a daughter, Edna Nealis, and a son, Dan Sanders, both of the home.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4th, at the Chelander-Eshbaugh chapel in Randolph. Rev. W.C. McGuire of Riley was in charge. Burial was in the Mill Creek cemetery. |
