Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday (today) at the Rossville Christian Church for Mrs. Nora Skidmore, 70, Odessa, Tex., formerly of Rossville, who died Friday, August 6, 1976 at an Odessa hospital.
She was born December 12, 1905 in Kentucky. She was a resident of Rossville most of her life and had lived in Odessa, Tex. for a short time.
She was a member of the Rossville Christian Church.
She was married to J. B. “Buck” Skidmore. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Stoner, Odessa; a sister, Mrs. Opal Montgomery, Los Angeles; four brothers, Ray Prater, Los Angeles, Russell Prater, Spokane, Wash., Omar Prater, Denver, and Earl Prater, Rossville.
Burial was in Rossville Cemetery, Rossville. Parker Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. The casket remained closed. Casket bearers were: James Davis, John Davis, Junior Dannefer, Robert Lloyd, Paul Skidmore and Joe Skidmore.
