Mary Ann Hall, 77, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Mary Ann was born to Henry and Regina Orchlin Weishaar, October 2, 1942, in an Atchison hospital but lived in Nortonville, Kansas. Mary Ann attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School, graduating from Nortonville High School. She worked for the State of Kansas and was part owner of Hall's Oldsmobile Salvage, Soldier and Hall's Painting for man years until she retired and moved to Topeka. She was a member of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church.
Mary Ann married her high school sweetheart, Warren Hall, October 22, 1960, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nortonville. He survives at the home. Other survivors include three sons, Gregory Hall (Lashell), Shawnee, Kansas, Darren Hall (Julie) Topeka and Thad Hall (Melissa), Manhattan; three grandchildren, Dartanian Hall (Hannah Silva), Samantha Hall, Manhattan, and Zackery Hall, Topeka; one great-grandson, Lysander Hall; three sisters, LaVern Davis (Edwin), Nortonville, Betty Franks (James), Topeka and Judy Wagner, Topeka; sisters-in-law, Peachier Weishaar and Nancy Weishaar; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kenneth Hall died in 1979; three brothers, Edwin Weishaar, Elvin Weishaar, and Vernon Weishaar; sister, Genevieve Drimmel; baby sister, Eileen Weishaar; brothers-in-law, John Wagner and Clarence Drimmel; and sister-in-law, Helen Weishaar. Mary Ann lived for her husband, children and grandchildren and loved flowers.
The rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614, where visitation will follow until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, NW 46th and Green Hills Road. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
