| Obituary- Pelfrey, Ora 1 Ora Pelfrey
Mrs. Ora M. Pelfrey, 80, formerly of Rossville, died Friday, March 30, 1979 at an El Paso, Texas, nursing home after a long illness.
She was born March 9, 1899, at Ellington, Ky. She lived in Rossville from 1930 until about two years ago when she moved to El Paso to be near her daughter.
Mrs. Pelfrey was a member of Rossville Christian Church and Amaryllis Chapter No. 321, Order of the Eastern Star, Rossville.
She was married to Everett Pelfrey June 5, 1915, at Ellington, Ky. He died in 1967.
Surviving is a son, Gene Pelfrey, Rossville; a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Stalker, El Paso; two sisters, Mary Blackman, Grove Port, Ohio, and Myrtle Frisby, Fellsmere, Fla; a brother, Buck Williams, West Liberty, Ky.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Rossville Christian Church, Rossville. Burial as in Rossville Cemetery, Rossville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Christian Church. Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka, is in charge of Kansas arrangements.
