Obituary- Hahn, Samuel 1
Samuel Hahn
Samuel Hahn died at his home northwest of Silver Lake April 17, 1916 at the age of 75 years. He was a native of Pennsylvania and went west to Missouri when a young man. For the last 40 years he has been a resident of Kansas, coming first to Maple Hill and later moving to Rossville township. The Hahn family have lived for the past four years on the Kassebaum farm.
Mr. Hahn began suffering from dropsy and heart trouble in January and grew worse as time passed. During the Civil war he was a veteran of a Kansas regiment.
Mr. Hahn is survived by his widow and six sons, Harvey of McFarland, a son by a former marriage, and George, Albert, Clarence, Marshall and Burges of Rossville.
Funeral services were held at the home on the afternoon of April 18, conducted by Rev. W. [continued]
