Obituary- Partridge, Delores

Delores Elizabeth (Hanrahan) Partridge was born April 2, 1936 in Delia, Kansas to Francis Bernard and Clementine Elizabeth Allen Hanrahan, who died in Kansas in 1972 and 1996. Delores died in Fort Meyers, Florida on July, 9, 2018. She will be buried in Canaseraga Cemetery.

While working at Forbes Air Force Base in Kansas she met and married Ronald Forrest Glover, son of A. Ross and Daphne Gelser Glover, on Feb 5, 1954 at the Presbyterian Manse in Topeka, Kansas. Ron was born Jan 7, 1935 in Canaseraga, NY and died in a car accident on March 30, 1956 in Topeka. Ron and Delores had a son, Ronald Dean Glover, who moved with her to Canaseraga after the death of Ron Sr. to live near the Glover family.

Delores married Dansville native Gerald “Jim” Partridge, son of LaVerne and Clara Sherman Partridge, on April 12, 1958 at the Parsonage of St. Paul’s United Lutheran Church in Dansville, NY. They were married for over 60 years, living in Dansville for many years before moving to Florida. Jim survives Delores and lives in Florida. Delores was predeceased by their daughter Bonnie Ellen Partridge Roberts on January 28, 2013.

Delores is survived by her son Ronald (Diane Waterbury) of Littleton, Colorado; her grandchildren Julia Glover (Darrin) Turner of Colorado, Krista Glover (Marcus) Bratton of Colorado, and Wendy (Aaron) Weeks of Texas; her great grandchildren Quinten Turner, Oliver Turner, Ashton Turner, Sawyer Bratton, Soren Bratton, Paisley Weeks, and Ruger Weeks; and several nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her siblings in Kansas: Patrick, Marlene and Regina Jean.

Delores was active in the Dansville community including with the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and the Cinderella Softball League. She especially enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
