OBITUARY.
Theodore P. Riggs died Tuesday, May 5th, at the residence of his step-daughter, Mrs. W.V. Hook, who resides in the northern part of Rossville township, where funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Charles E. Kalb, who preached from the fourth verse of the twenty-third Psalm: - "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil."

The deceased was 46 years of age, and for a long time has suffered from lung trouble. He left two children of his own, in addition to several step-children. He was born in Carter county Kentucky, but for several years has resided in this city. His remains were interred in the Rossville cemetery.
